2.2 Service Availability
- Services are subject to parts availability and workshop capacity
- Same-day service is available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed
- We reserve the right to decline service if we determine the work is beyond our capability or expertise
2.3 Service Quotes
- All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may be subject to change following vehicle inspection
- Additional work discovered during repairs will be communicated to you for approval before proceeding
3. Bookings and Appointments
3.1 Making a Booking
- Appointments can be made via telephone, email, or through our website contact form
- We will confirm your appointment within 24 hours (working days)
- Appointment times are approximate and subject to workshop scheduling
3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a cancellation fee
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in case of unforeseen circumstances
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
- All prices quoted include VAT unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- The final invoice may differ from the initial quote if additional work is required or parts prices have changed
4.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon collection of the vehicle unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards
- Payment must be received in full before the vehicle is released
4.3 Non-Payment
- Vehicles will not be released until payment is received in full
- We reserve the right to exercise a lien over your vehicle for unpaid charges
- Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate
5. Parts and Materials
5.1 Parts Supply
- We use quality replacement parts from reputable suppliers
- Original Equipment (OE) parts are used where specified or requested
- Customers may supply their own parts, but we cannot guarantee the quality or warranty of customer-supplied parts
5.2 Parts Warranty
- Parts fitted by Suffolk Clutch Centre carry the manufacturer’s warranty
- Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and part type
- Warranty claims must be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms
6. Warranties and Guarantees
6.1 Workmanship Warranty
- We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of repair or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first
- The warranty covers defects in our workmanship only and does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, or neglect
- Wear and tear or deterioration
- Modifications made after our repair
- Failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules
- Racing, competition, or commercial use (unless specifically agreed)
- Consequential losses or damages
6.3 Warranty Claims
- All warranty claims must be reported immediately
- Vehicles must be returned to Suffolk Clutch Centre for inspection
- We reserve the right to determine whether a claim is valid under warranty
- Our liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective work or parts
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1 Vehicle Information
- You must provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition
- You must disclose any known faults or previous repairs
- You must inform us if the vehicle has been modified
7.2 Vehicle Collection
- Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of notification that repairs are complete
- Storage charges may apply for vehicles left beyond this period at £10 per day
- We accept no liability for vehicles left on our premises for extended periods
7.3 Personal Belongings
- We are not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles
- Please remove all valuables and personal items before leaving your vehicle
8. Liability
8.1 Our Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair work undertaken
- We are not liable for consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of earnings, or travel expenses
- Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
8.2 Vehicle Damage
- We take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession
- We maintain appropriate insurance for vehicles in our care
- Any damage caused by our negligence will be repaired or compensated
8.3 Existing Damage
- We will note any existing damage on the job card
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or faults not related to the work undertaken
